Chief Executive Officer
Kurt is a seasoned executive and has deep experience in building companies that leverage brand and technology. Kurt was a Vice President at Arvato Digital Services LLC, a division of Bertelsman. Kurt served as the Chief Executive Officer of LicenseStream. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of SolutionSet, Inc. and an Entrepreneur in Residence at Adobe. In addition, Kurt served as the Chief Executive Officer of Movaris, Inc. and served as an Executive Vice President for Field Operations of USWeb Corporation. Kurt has also had consulting experience at Booz Allen and Hamilton and at Gemini Consulting where he was a Vice President. Kurt holds an MBA with distinction from the Wharton Business School, a M.Eng. from Cornell and an BSEE from Clarkson University.
Chief Technical Officer
Prior to IMAT Solutions, Ken served as a Senior Development Manager and Senior Principal Software Engineer at Symantec where he managed the development of Backup Exec System Recovery software management into the Altiris Notification Server. He was also responsible for indexing, searching, and retrieving functions, as well as other new product development. He was a Founder and Director of Engineering at Senforce Technologies (acquired by Novell). Previous experience includes Vinca (acquired by Legato), Novell, and ITT’s Advanced Technology Center. Ken has a BS in Computer Science from Brigham Young University.
Chief Scientist and Co-founder
Ron was also the co-founder of Q&A Technology Partners, the predecessor to Perfect Search. He is a 21-year veteran of the search industry, having worked for Brigham Young University, Word Perfect, Novell, and Cogito as a search engine software engineer. In this capacity, he is a holder of 9 patents, obtained for BYU, Word Perfect, and Novell. On four patents, he is co-inventor with Bruce Tietjen, joint author and fellow IMAT Solutions employee. Ron received his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and holds two master’s degrees, in Computer Science and Linguistics, all from Brigham Young University.
