14 Mar IMAT Solutions to Showcase Enhanced Clinical Quality Measures with State of Rhode Island at the 2019 State Healthcare IT Connect Summit
Marking its 10th anniversary, the 2019 State Healthcare IT Connect Summit will focus on how states are leveraging cutting-edge health IT and data management solutions for coordinating major initiatives including data governance and interoperability, payment reform, and population health.
Underscoring this key focus, IMAT Solutions will be playing a wide-ranging role at the conference. In addition to exhibiting its health data management platform for states, HIEs, payers, hospitals and clinics, and ACOs, IMAT Solutions is also hosting a speaker roundtable about building a shared service for enhancing clinical quality measures for states.
Taking place on March 19th from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., the session is titled, Demonstrating The Value of Shared State HIT Systems to Achieve Sustainability: RI’s Statewide Clinical Quality Measurement System. The discussion will feature insights from Melissa Lauer, Health Information Technology Specialist, Rhode Island Executive Office of Health and Human Services; and Mark Coetzer, Program Director at IMAT Solutions.
Here’s the summary of the roundtable:
Often the cost savings and buying power of statewide HIT systems seem logical from the beginning, but reaching sustainability requires a demonstration of value to garner commitment. Discuss how RI is partnering with the community to build a shared service for clinical quality measures with vendor IMAT Solutions, and the efforts to navigate the tenuous path to long-term sustainability.
Last year, IMAT Solutions announced that it is working with the State of Rhode Island to transition it to a value-based system of care by establishing a centralized electronic clinical quality measurement reporting and feedback system. In 2015, Rhode Island was one of 24 states to receive a State Innovation Model (SIM) Test Grant from The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to support this transition.
Be sure to stop by the roundtable to learn more about this effort! In addition, IMAT Solutions will be exhibiting at Booth #5 at the conference.
