13 Feb IMAT Clinical Reports 5.00
IMAT Solutions is proud to announce the Integrated Medical Analytics Technology (IMAT) Clinical Reports 5.00 release.
Features
The IMAT Clinical Reports 5.00 release includes several features that make indexing and searching medical documents more efficient. The IMAT Clinical Reports is built on the Perfect Search core technology, which allows for search speeds hundreds of times faster than competitors.
Preprocessing
Medical documents can be preprocessed before indexing to identify demographic information, vital signs measurements, and structured lab results, as well as sections of the document that require NLP processing. IMAT Clinical Reports includes the cTAKES NLP Engine, which can identify medical concepts such as problems, symptoms, procedures, and medications. It is also able to identify the subject and the polarity of these concepts; for example if the patients father has diabetes as opposed to the patient, or whether the patient has had an eye exam or has not had an eye exam. Once identified each concept will be searchable upon indexing.
Clinical XML
Clinical XML (CXML) has been introduced as a way to consistently format source documents. This includes all aspects of the record, including demographic and metadata.
Single Query Builder
IMAT Clinical Reports includes a single query user interface, in which you can enter basic queries, or use an advanced query builder. The advanced query builder allows you to customize your search for more relevant search results. The query builder contains common default search fields, and allows you to add the fields that matter to your company. As you build your query you can turn on Identify Results to receive instant notification of whether your search will return results. Once you’ve finished your query, you can save it to be run again later.
The search results are returned in list format, and you are able to view each record to see the search term in context of the original document. The search results also can be exported in CSV format for further analysis.
SNOMED and RxNorm codes
IMAT Clinical Reports allows for searching through the documents by SNOMED and RxNorm codes. SNOMED codes can also be identified by ICD9 codes.
Compound Query
The Compound Query tool allows you to run multiple-step queries against your data. You can compare, analyze, and output the result sets from your queries. Queries can be run across multiple record types and facilities to help compile virtually any type of statistical information that can be generated from your data. Once the Compound Queries have been built, they can be saved to be run as desired later.
Audit Logs
IMAT supports detailed audit logs for many interactions with IMAT Clinical Reports, including: requests for cached items, retrieval rule interactions, security collection rule interactions, search queries, compound scripts, logins, logouts, user interactions, and group interactions. These logs can be stored on the appliance or on a remote logging server.
