01 Apr IMAT Solutions Helping Customers to Identify Patients at Risk of COVID-19

Last week, IMAT Solutions announced that it is enabling real-time health data reporting and analytics for its customers in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition to facilitating these capabilities through the IMAT platform’s Event-Based Reporting, Population Risk Surveillance, and Alerts/Notifications, the company is helping customers to identify patients who may be at risk of COVID-19, through the creation of profiles based on centralized clinical codes and other clinical data.

“One of the challenges of this pandemic is identification of evolving clinical codes such as laboratory tests, diagnoses, medical equipment, as well as the combination of codes used to identify patients at risk,” said Kurt Garbe, CEO of IMAT Solutions, in this press release. “Unlike traditional data management solutions that only offer standardized reporting capabilities, IMAT Solutions will be taking a specialized approach to maintaining a centralized collection of all required clinical codes, based on feedback from clients, Providers and other healthcare organizations.”

To meet this need, IMAT Solutions will be providing weekly updates that will be delivered through IMAT Sets.

This allows for the creation of profiles based on clinical codes and any other clinical data required to identify patients who may be at risk. Leveraging Sets within IMAT, clients are able to update all queries, reports, scorecards and dashboards with the latest clinical codes immediately.
